Bev Reaume is a stained glass artist from Camano Island. She is also a certified master gardener with a backyard wildlife habitat. She has been planting her Camano Island property for 15 years -- she moved here from Alaska just so she could garden more. She learned to create stained glass so she could put it in her garden's fence.
The gate connects to fellow artist John Ebner’s property, which is also certified, in Camano’s Sunset West neighborhood. Their properties are prime examples of the spirit of backyard habitats — linking wild spaces across the island, according to a feature in the local Stanwood-Camano News.
